Job summary

Sequim Bay Post Acute in Sequim, WA is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to provide hands-on patient care under the direction of licensed staff.

Responsibilities include bathing, dressing, mobility support, feeding, toileting, and documenting care while maintaining residents' dignity and comfort. A Washington CNA certification and reliable, compassionate service are required; training provided for new CNAs.

Qualifications

• CNA certification required by Washington State DOH.
• Ability to lift 25 lbs independently; up to 100+ lbs with assistance.
• New CNAs welcome; training provided.
• Experience preferred but not required.

Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) | $24-$30/hour | Sequim Bay Post Acute

Join our care team at Sequim Bay Post Acute as a Certified Nursing Assistant and make a real difference in residents' lives every day! We're looking for compassionate, dependable CNAs to help our residents maintain dignity, independence, and the highest quality of life possible.

What You'll Do

• Provide hands-on care with bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility, and feeding based on each resident's care plan
• Support restorative care - helping residents maintain or regain independence through range-of-motion exercises and safe ambulation
• Assist with toileting, transfers, and daily living needs with patience and respect
• Monitor and report changes in residents' physical, mental, or emotional condition to the charge nurse
• Keep accurate, timely documentation of care provided
• Help create a safe, homelike environment for residents and follow infection control and safety protocols

What You'll Need

• Current CNA certification (Washington State Department of Health) or eligibility to transfer certification from another state
• Clean standing on the State Nurse Aide Registry (no findings of abuse, neglect, mistreatment, or misappropriation)
• Ability to lift 25+ lbs independently and up to 100+ lbs with assistance
• Strong communication skills and a genuine passion for helping others
• Prior caregiving experience preferred, but we welcome newly certified CNAs too!
