Job summary

Sequim Bay Post Acute is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to deliver compassionate, patient-centered care to residents in Sequim, WA. You will perform daily activities, assist with mobility, and support independence as outlined in each care plan.

We offer a stable schedule with day and evening shifts, plus benefits including health coverage and PTO. Current WA CNA certification is required, with training provided for new CNAs as needed.

Qualifications

• Current CNA certification is required.
• Clean standing on WA State Nurse Aide Registry.
• Ability to lift 25+ lbs, up to 100+ lbs with assistance.
• Excellent communication and compassion for residents.
• Caregiving experience preferred; new CNAs welcome.

Responsibilities

Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) | $24-$30/hour | Sequim Bay Post Acute

Join our care team at Sequim Bay Post Acute as a Certified Nursing Assistant and make a real difference in residents' lives every day! We're looking for compassionate, dependable CNAs to help our residents maintain dignity, independence, and the highest quality of life possible.

What You'll Do

• Provide hands-on care with bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility, and feeding based on each resident's care plan
• Support restorative care — helping residents maintain or regain independence through range-of-motion exercises and safe ambulation
• Assist with toileting, transfers, and daily living needs with patience and respect
• Monitor and report changes in residents' physical, mental, or emotional condition to the charge nurse
• Keep accurate, timely documentation of care provided
• Help create a safe, homelike environment for residents and follow infection control and safety protocols

What You'll Need

• Current CNA certification (Washington State Department of Health) or eligibility to transfer certification from another state
• Clean standing on the State Nurse Aide Registry (no findings of abuse, neglect, mistreatment, or misappropriation)
• Ability to lift 25+ lbs independently and up to 100+ lbs with assistance
• Strong communication skills and a genuine passion for helping others
• Prior caregiving experience preferred, but we welcome newly certified CNAs too!
