Job summary

Santa Clarita Post Acute in Newhall, CA is seeking full-time CNAs for AM (7AM-3PM) and PM (3PM-11PM) shifts in a 99-bed skilled nursing facility. Compensation ranges from $19 to $23 hourly, with competitive wages and benefits.

As a CNA, you will assist residents with daily living activities, support transfers, serve meals, and report changes to your supervisor. Requirements include CA CNA certification and CPR/First Aid; minimum 1 year of experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Current CA nursing assistant certification is required.
• CPR and first aid certifications are a plus.
• Minimum of 1 year experience in a skilled nursing facility, acute care setting, or related field is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting).
• Transfer residents to/from activities and meals per care plans.
• Serve meals in dining room or residents' apartments.
• Record and report changes in residents' eating habits to supervisor.
• Promote quality services within regulations at state and federal level.

• Serve meals to residents in the dining room or their apartments
• Record and report changes in residents' eating habits to supervisor
• Promote quality services within company, state, and federal regulations

• Minimum of 1 year experience in a skilled nursing facility, acute care setting, or in-patient rehabilitation or in-patient behavioral health setting
