Job summary

Mission Valley Post Acute is hiring a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for a full-time AM shift. You will provide compassionate, resident-centered care, assist with daily living activities, and support transfers and mobility under the supervision of licensed staff.

Earn $24.00-$25.00 per hour, depending on experience, with a stable full-time schedule in a welcoming post-acute care environment. You’ll collaborate with a dedicated team to ensure dignity, safety, and high-quality resident care

Qualifications

• Current California CNA certification is required.
• Experience in skilled nursing, post-acute care, or long-term care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, person-centered care per resident care plan.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, feeding).
• Assist with transfers, ambulation, positioning and mobility while ensuring safety.
• Measure and record vital signs and report changes to licensed staff.
• Respond promptly to call lights and resident needs.
• Maintain accurate documentation of care provided.
• Promote dignity, privacy, independence, comfort and well-being.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families and care team.
• Follow infection control procedures and facility policies.
• Maintain a clean, safe environment and collaborate with licensed staff.

Essential Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, person-centered care in accordance with each resident's individual care plan.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and feeding.
• Assist with transfers, ambulation, positioning, and other mobility needs while maintaining resident safety.
• Measure and record vital signs and promptly report changes in residents' conditions to licensed nursing staff.
• Answer call lights promptly and respond to resident needs in a timely and respectful manner.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of care provided.
• Promote residents' dignity, privacy, independence, comfort, and overall well-being.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and members of the interdisciplinary care team.
• Follow infection control procedures, facility policies, and applicable state and federal regulations.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents.
• Collaborate with licensed nursing staff and other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality resident care.

Qualifications

• Required: Current and valid California Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification.
• Previous experience in skilled nursing, post-acute care, or long-term care preferred.
