Job summary

Santa Cruz Post Acute is hiring Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) for full-time and part-time shifts in Santa Cruz, CA. Starting pay is $23.00–$26.00 per hour (DOE) with a comprehensive benefits package.

You will assist residents with ADLs, monitor vitals, support meals, and work closely with nursing staff to maintain a safe, compassionate environment. Active California CNA certification is required; background check and health screening will be completed.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with ADLs including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting and mobility.

• Support meal service and ensure proper hydration.
• Maintain clean, safe, and organized resident spaces.
• Report changes in resident condition to nursing staff promptly.
• Follow infection control and safety protocols.
• Collaborate with the care team on clinical and non-clinical tasks.

Position Overview

We are currently seeking compassionate and dependable Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to join our full-time care team. In this role, you will provide essential hands-on support to residents while collaborating closely with nursing staff to ensure a safe, comfortable, and nurturing environment.
