Job summary

Clinton Place in Kentucky is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant to care for residents in a long‑term care setting. You will assist with bathing, dressing, feeding, and mobility, monitor patients, and report changes to the nursing team, while upholding safety and dignity.

Qualifications

• One year of CNA experience in long-term care preferred.
• Current state CNA certification.
• Ability to lift and transfer residents safely.

Responsibilities

• Attend to residents' needs including bathing, feeding, dressing, and ambulating.
• Take and record patient vital signs, lifting, moving and transporting residents with proper body mechanics.
• Recognize and report changes in resident conditions to nursing staff.
• Communicate and interact effectively with residents, visitors, families, peers, and supervisors.
• Assist the nurse with various duties as directed.

CNAs are responsible for the following:

• Attend to the individual needs of residents, including bathing, feeding, dressing, and ambulating.
• Responsible for taking and recording patient vital signs lifting, moving and transporting residents, using proper body mechanics.
• Recognizing and reporting changes in resident conditions to a nurse management. Asking appropriate questions to clarify situations.
• Communicate and interact effectively and tactfully with the residents, visitors, families, peers, and supervisors.
• Reporting abnormal changes or patterns to nursing staff.
• Demonstrating the ability to assist the nurse with various duties as directed.

CNA Requirements:

• At least one year of experience as a CNA in a long‑term care setting is highly preferred.
• Current state certification as a CNA.
