Job summary

Regency Pullman is seeking compassionate CNAs to provide individualized care to residents in a retirement and assisted living setting. You will support daily living activities, monitor health, and maintain residents' dignity and rights.

Key duties include following care plans, taking vital signs, assisting with grooming and mobility, and documenting care accurately. CPR/BLS certification is expected or obtainable. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• Must hold CNA certification in the state of employment.

Responsibilities

• Follow individualized care plans and communicate changes to the care team.
• Assist residents with grooming, bathing, feeding, toileting, and mobility per care needs.
• Maintain skin integrity by turning immobile residents and applying moisturizers.
• Protect residents' personal belongings and report missing items per policy.
• Take vital signs, monitor weights, apply creams, and assist with transfers.
• Document care accurately and follow safety and infection control procedures.
• Communicate respectfully with residents, families, peers, and supervisors.

CNA to become a Med-Aide. (Will Train)

As a CNA, you provide quality nursing care and promote resident rights, dignity, freedom of choice, and individuality. You also provide individualized attention and encourage residents to maintain or attain their highest practical physical, mental, and psychosocial well-being.

You Will:

• Ensure individualized care plans are followed and provide care planning staff with specific information, changes, and observations of the residents' needs and preferences.
• Attend to the resident's needs, including; grooming, bathing, oral hygiene, feeding, incontinent care, toileting, colostomy care, prosthetic appliances, transferring, ambulation, range of motion, communication, in keeping with the individuals' care requirements
• Maintain each resident's skin integrity to prevent pressure ulcers, skin tears, and other damage by changing incontinent residents, turning, repositioning immobile residents, and applying moisturizers to fragile skin.
• Protect the personal belongings of each resident and promptly report missing items according to established policy.
• Take vital signs, residents' weights, apply creams/ointments, collect specimens, lift, move, and transport residents, using proper body mechanics or lifting devices to prevent accidents.
• Document care in keeping with department policies
• Follow prescribed safety and infection control procedures.
• Communicate and interact tactfully with the residents, visitors, families, peers, and supervisors.

You Currently:

• Possess a CNA certification in the state of employment.
• Have the ability to obtain CPR/BLS card.
