Job summary

Regency Omak Rehabilitation & Nursing in Omak, WA seeks caring CNAs to provide quality nursing care and uphold residents' rights and dignity.

You will support grooming, hygiene, mobility, vital signs, and documentation while following care plans and safety protocols. Current CNA certification and CPR/BLS eligibility are required.

Qualifications

• CNA certification in the state of employment.
• Ability to obtain CPR/BLS card.

Responsibilities

• Follow individualized care plans and report needs to care staff.
• Attend to residents' grooming, bathing, hygiene, feeding, toileting, transfers, and mobility.
• Maintain skin integrity through turning and moisturizers; prevent pressure ulcers.
• Protect residents' belongings and report missing items per policy.
• Take vital signs, monitor weight, apply creams, collect specimens, assist with movement.
• Document care in line with department policies.
• Follow safety and infection control procedures.
• Communicate with residents, families, peers and supervisors.

- Exceptional Team Seeking Compassionate CNAs to Improve the Lives of our Seniors -

As a CNA, you provide quality nursing care and promote resident rights, dignity, freedom of choice, and individuality. You also provide individualized attention and encourage residents to maintain or attain their highest practical physical, mental, and psychosocial well-being.

You Will:

• Ensure individualized care plans are followed and provide care planning staff with specific information, changes, and observations of the residents' needs and preferences.
• Attend to the resident's needs, including; grooming, bathing, oral hygiene, feeding, incontinent care, toileting, colostomy care, prosthetic appliances, transferring, ambulation, range of motion, communication, in keeping with the individuals' care requirements
• Maintain each resident's skin integrity to prevent pressure ulcers, skin tears, and other damage by changing incontinent residents, turning, repositioning immobile residents, and applying moisturizers to fragile skin.
• Protect the personal belongings of each resident and promptly report missing items according to established policy.
• Take vital signs, residents' weights, apply creams/ointments, collect specimens, lift, move, and transport residents, using proper body mechanics or lifting devices to prevent accidents.
• Document care in keeping with department policies
• Follow prescribed safety and infection control procedures.
• Communicate and interact tactfully with the residents, visitors, families, peers, and supervisors.

You Currently:

• Possess a CNA certification in the state of employment.
• Have the ability to obtain CPR/BLS card.
