Job summary

The Gardens at York Terrace in Pottsville, PA is seeking compassionate and dependable Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to join our skilled nursing facility. You will provide direct care and support to residents, ensuring their comfort, dignity, and well-being.

We offer increased pay with rates $19.25–$21.25 per hour plus shift differentials and a range of shifts (day, evening, night, and PRN) to fit your schedule.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Current CNA certification required.
• Completion of a state-approved CNA training program and competency exam.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care including bathing, dressing, hygiene, and grooming per resident care plans.
• Assist residents with mobility, positioning, and ensuring they are out of bed as care plans require.
• Support residents with therapeutic, neuro/dementia, dialysis, IV therapy, wound care, and other specialized needs when applicable.
• Deliver care in accordance with Resident Care Policies and Procedures, maintaining safety and well-being at all times.
• Interact with residents, families, and staff in a respectful, supportive, and professional manner.
• Perform additional duties as assigned to meet resident care needs.

As a CNA, you will play an essential role in providing direct care and support to our residents, ensuring their comfort, dignity, and well-being.

Rates: $19.25-$21.25 PLUS Shift Diff's (3-11 $1.00 11p-7 $.25)

Available Shifts:

• Day Shift (7:00 AM – 3:00 PM) – Part-Time

• Evening Shift (3:00 PM – 11:00 PM) – Full-Time & Part-Time

• Night Shift (11:00 PM – 7:00 AM) – Full-Time & Part-Time

• PRN

Responsibilities:

• Act as a vital member of the interdisciplinary team under the supervision of the Charge Nurse.

• Interact with residents, families, and staff in a respectful, supportive, and professional manner.

• Perform additional duties as assigned to meet resident care needs.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED preferred.

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required.

• Successful completion of a state-approved CNA training program and competency exam.

• Must provide documentation of certification upon application.
