Job summary

The Gardens at York Terrace in Pottsville, PA is seeking compassionate CNAs to join a skilled nursing facility. You will provide direct care, assist with mobility, and support residents with therapeutic and specialized needs under the Charge Nurse supervision.

We offer newly increased rates of $19.25–$21.25 per hour plus shift differentials for evenings and nights. Available shifts include Day, Evening, Night, and PRN with flexible Full-Time and Part-Time options.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required.
• Successful completion of a state-approved CNA training program and competency exam.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care including bathing, dressing, hygiene, and grooming per resident care plans.
• Assist residents with mobility, positioning, and ensuring they are out of bed as care plans require.
• Support residents with therapeutic, neuro/dementia, dialysis, IV therapy, wound care, and other specialized needs when applicable.
• Deliver care in accordance with Resident Care Policies and Procedures, maintaining safety and well-being at all times.
• Act as a vital member of the interdisciplinary team under the supervision of the Charge Nurse.
• Interact with residents, families, and staff in a respectful, supportive, and professional manner.
• Perform additional duties as assigned to meet resident care needs.

• Evening Shift (3:00 PM – 11:00 PM) – Full-Time & Part-Time
• Night Shift (11:00 PM – 7:00 AM) – Full-Time & Part-Time
• PRN
