Job summary

Forest City Nursing and Rehabilitation is seeking a personable Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to perform resident care activities and services for our nursing home residents in Forest City, PA. Join a compassionate multidisciplinary team focused on enriching residents’ lives. Rates: $19.34-$22.84 per hour.

Shifts include 7a-3p, 3p-11p, 11p-7a with 8- or 12-hour options; Baylor schedule available. You’ll be paid for 40 hours and receive full-time benefits.

Qualifications

• Active Certified Nursing Assistant Certification is required.
• Must have completed a State approved CNA training program and examination.

Responsibilities

• Assists residents with bathing, dressing, hygiene, and grooming per Care Plan.
• Demonstrates knowledge and skills to care for residents with diverse needs (therapeutic, neuro, dementia, dialysis, IV therapy, infectious disease, wound care).
• Provides nursing care and maintains resident safety and well-being.
• Works under supervision of the Charge Nurse and collaborates with the inter-disciplinary team.

Available Shifts:

Full-Time/ Part-Time- 7a-3p, 3pm- 11pm, and 11pm- 7am (8 or 12 hour shifts) and Baylor

Choose your Baylor schedule:

• Work 2 days (Sat & Sun) – 16-hour shifts

CNA Job details/Responsibilities:

• Demonstrates knowledge, skills, and techniques necessary to care for residents with the following needs: therapeutic, neuro and dementia, dialysis, IV therapy, infectious disease, and wound care, if applicable.

• Provides nursing care in accordance with Resident Care Policies and Procedures and ensures the safety and well-being of the residents is maintained.

• Acts appropriately under the direction of the Charge Nurse and acts as an active member of the inter-disciplinary team.

• Assists residents with bathing, dressing, hygiene, and grooming, in accordance with the established Care Plan.

• Ensures that all residents are out of bed according to the established Care Plan.

• Interacts with residents, family members, co-workers, and clinical and ancillary staff in a non-judgmental, supportive, and calm manner.

• Additional duties as assigned to follow the Care Plan.

CNA Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited high school or GED preferred.

• Must possess an active Certified Nursing Assistant Certification; having successfully completed a State approved training program and necessary examination.

• Must provide documentation of certification upon application for the position.
