Job summary

Mount Carmel Senior Living Community in Mt Carmel, PA is seeking a personable Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide resident care and comfort for our nursing home residents. This part-time role offers base pay with shift differentials and full benefits under a W-2 arrangement.

You will assist with bathing, grooming, mobility, and daily activities, work under the Charge Nurse, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to uphold Care Plans and resident well-being.

Qualifications

Mount Carmel Senior Living Community is seeking a personable Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to perform various resident care activities and services necessary in caring for the personal needs and comfort of our nursing home residents, located in Mt Carmel, PA!

Shifts Available:

• FT/PT 1st, 2nd

Pay

• Base Rate: $18.50–$20.50 per hour
• Weekday Shift Differentials:
  • +$0.75/hour for 2:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m.
  • +$0.75/hour for 10:00 p.m. – 6:00 a.m.
• Weekend Shift Differentials:
  • +$0.75/hour for 6:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
  • +$1.50/hour for 2:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m.
  • +$1.50/hour for 10:00 p.m. – 6:00 a.m.

All shift differentials are paid in addition to the base hourly rate.

CNA Job details/Responsibilities:

• Demonstrates knowledge, skills, and techniques necessary to care for residents with the following needs: therapeutic, neuro and dementia, dialysis, IV therapy, infectious disease, and wound care, if applicable.
• Provides nursing care in accordance with Resident Care Policies and Procedures and ensures the safety and well-being of the residents is maintained.
• Acts appropriately under the direction of the Charge Nurse and acts as an active member of the inter-disciplinary team.
• Assists residents with bathing, dressing, hygiene, and grooming, in accordance with the established Care Plan.
• Ensures that all residents are out of bed according to the established Care Plan.
• Interacts with residents, family members, co-workers, and clinical and ancillary staff in a non-judgmental, supportive, and calm manner.
• Additional duties as assigned to follow the Care Plan.

CNA Qualifications:

• A graduate of an accredited high school or GED is preferred.
• Must possess an active Certified Nursing Assistant Certification; having successfully completed a State approved training program and necessary examination.
• Must provide documentation of certification upon application for the position. Job Type: Part-time
