Job summary

Mount Carmel Senior Living Community is seeking a personable Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to perform resident care activities and services in Mt Carmel, PA. The team focuses on enriching residents' lives through compassionate care and multidisciplinary collaboration.

Shifts available FT/PT 1st, 2nd with base rate $18.50–$20.50 per hour plus differential pay. This W-2 position includes full benefits and a supportive work environment for growth.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Active Certified Nursing Assistant certification required.
• Documentation of CNA certification upon application.

Responsibilities

• Care for residents' personal needs and comfort as per Care Plan.
• Assist with bathing, dressing, hygiene, and grooming.
• Provide nursing care as directed by Charge Nurse and team.
• Ensure residents are up and dressed per Care Plan.
• Interact with residents, families, and staff in a respectful manner.
• Follow Care Plan and safety procedures at all times.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the Care Plan.

Shifts Available:

• FT/PT 1st, 2nd

Pay

• Base Rate: $18.50–$20.50 per hour

• Weekday Shift Differentials:

  • +$0.75/hour for 2:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m.

  • +$0.75/hour for 10:00 p.m. – 6:00 a.m.

• Weekend Shift Differentials:

  • +$0.75/hour for 6:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.

  • +$1.50/hour for 2:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m.

  • +$1.50/hour for 10:00 p.m. – 6:0 a.m.

All shift differentials are paid in addition to the base hourly rate.

CNA Job details/Responsibilities:

• Demonstrates knowledge, skills, and techniques necessary to care for residents with the following needs: therapeutic, neuro and dementia, dialysis, IV therapy, infectious disease, and wound care, if applicable.

• Provides nursing care in accordance with Resident Care Policies and Procedures and ensures the safety and well-being of the residents is maintained.

• Acts appropriately under the direction of the Charge Nurse and acts as an active member of the inter-disciplinary team.

• Assists residents with bathing, dressing, hygiene, and grooming, in accordance with the established Care Plan.

• Ensures that all residents are out of bed according to the established Care Plan.

• Interacts with residents, family members, co-workers, and clinical and ancillary staff in a non-judgmental, supportive, and calm manner.

• Additional duties as assigned to follow the Care Plan.

CNA Qualifications:

• A graduate of an accredited high school or GED is preferred.

• Must possess an active Certified Nursing Assistant Certification; having successfully completed a State approved training program and necessary examination.

• Must provide documentation of certification upon application for the position. Job Type: Part-time
