Job summary

Oakland Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center in New Jersey is hiring CNAs for full-time, part-time, and PRN roles. You will provide compassionate, hands-on care, assist with ADLs, and work under licensed nursing staff to support resident safety and comfort.

We offer daily pay, competitive hourly wages ranging from $20 to $26, shift differentials for evenings, nights, and weekends, and a benefits package including health, vision, dental, 401(k), and tuition reimbursement.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current, active NJ CNA license.
• BLS/CPR certification required.
• Ability to work with multiple residents in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Demonstrated compassion, patience, and commitment to high-quality resident care.
• Strong communication skills and ability to follow directions accurately.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic resident care under supervision of licensed staff.
• Assist residents with ADLs: feeding, bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility, and linens.
• Provide supportive care to meet physical and emotional needs.
• Observe residents and report changes to nursing staff promptly.
• Maintain a clean, safe, comfortable environment.
• Support care team in delivering high-quality resident-centered care.

Responsibilities for CNAs:

• Provide basic resident care under the direction and supervision of licensed nursing staff in a safe, compassionate, and respectful manner.

• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including feeding, bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility assistance, and changing linens.

• Provide supportive care and services to ensure residents’ physical, emotional, and daily living needs are consistently met.

• Observe residents and report changes in condition, behavior, or needs to nursing staff in a timely and accurate manner.

• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment that promotes dignity and well‑being for all residents.

• Support nursing staff and the care team in delivering high‑quality, resident‑centered care.

Qualifications for CNAs:

• Must hold a current, active, and unencumbered Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license in NJ.

• Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) / CPR certification required.

• Ability to work effectively with multiple residents in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented healthcare environment.

• Demonstrated compassion, patience, and commitment to providing high‑quality resident care.

• Strong communication skills and ability to follow directions accurately and consistently.
