Job summary

Allendale Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center is seeking a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant to provide compassionate, hands-on care for residents on daytime and evening shifts. The role requires an active NJ CNA license and BLS/CPR certification, with a focus on safety, dignity, and quality of life.

You will work closely with licensed staff, assist with activities of daily living, monitor resident well-being, and help maintain a clean, supportive environment for a diverse resident

Qualifications

• Must hold a current, active New Jersey CNA license.
• Valid BLS/CPR certification required.
• Ability to work effectively with multiple residents in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting.
• Demonstrated compassion and commitment to high-quality resident care.
• Strong communication and follow-through skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic resident care under supervision.
• Assist with activities of daily living: feeding, bathing, dressing, mobility, linens.
• Provide supportive care to meet residents' physical and emotional needs.
• Observe residents and report changes to nursing staff promptly.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents.
• Support nursing staff in delivering high-quality, resident-centered care.

Opportunities Available:

Full-time: 7am - 3pm and 3pm - 11pm

Part-time: 7am - 3pm

Per Diem: 11pm - 7am (weekends)

Daily Pay!

$21.50 - $28 an hour (all inclusive)

Responsibilities for CNAs:

• Provide basic resident care under the direction and supervision of licensed nursing staff in a safe, compassionate, and respectful manner.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including feeding, bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility assistance, and changing linens.
• Provide supportive care and services to ensure residents’ physical, emotional, and daily living needs are consistently met.
• Observe residents and report changes in condition, behavior, or needs to nursing staff in a timely and accurate manner.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment that promotes dignity and well-being for all residents.
• Support nursing staff and the care team in delivering high-quality, resident-centered care.

Qualifications for CNAs:

• Must hold a current, active, and unencumbered Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license in New Jersey.
• Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) / CPR certification required.
• Ability to work effectively with multiple residents in a fast-paced, team-oriented healthcare environment.
• Demonstrated compassion, patience, and commitment to providing high-quality resident care.
• Strong communication skills and ability to follow directions accurately and consistently.
