Job summary

St. Patrick's Home Rehabilitation and Health Care in the Bronx, NY is actively seeking a Weekend Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) for our Skilled Nursing Facility. The role is full-time with day and evening/night shifts offering competitive hourly wages and a 10% differential for evenings and nights.

Responsibilities

• Observe residents and report health issues to supervising nurse.
• Assist with residents’ personal hygiene (bed baths, shaving, etc.).
• Set up meal trays and document food/fluid intake; feed residents.
• Make beds and keep residents’ space clean and tidy; transport residents within the facility.
• Turn bedridden residents to prevent bedsores; maintain confidentiality of all data.

Day shift: $25.26 Evening/Night shift: $27.78 (10% differential)

Duties:

• Available for a full-time position.
• Observing Residents
• Reporting any health issues to the supervising nurse
• Taking care of a Resident’s personal hygiene, including bed bath, shaving etc.
• Setting up of meal trays, and documenting food/fluid intake
• Feeding Residents & serving nutritional supplements
• Making beds & keeping the Residents’ space clean and tidy
• Transporting Residents within the Facility
• Turning bedridden residents to prevent bedsores
• Maintaining Confidentiality of all Resident & Facility data

Requirements:

• Must be able to work as a team member
• Successful completion of a CNA program
• Current NY State Certification
• Must be in good standing with State Registry
