Job summary

Park Gardens Rehabilitation & Nursing Center is seeking enthusiastic CNAs for weekend shifts in Bronx County, NY. CNAs will provide direct nursing care to residents under supervision, supporting personal comfort and well-being. Training and a supportive team environment are offered as part of a rewarding caregiving career.

We welcome applicants with Valid CNA certificates; prior Long Term Care experience is a plus. Part-time and per diem options are available.

Responsibilities

• Promotes resident hygiene and comfort.
• Distributes food/water and feeds residents.
• Assists with repositioning and transferring residents.
• Ambulates and transports residents.
• Records and totals fluid intake and output.
• Weighs residents.
• Documents on flow sheets.
• Assists with admission, discharge and postmortem care.
• Responds to call lights in a timely manner.
• Performs perineal care and uncomplicated colostomy care.
• Reports all observations & assessments to the Team Leader/Nurse Manager/Charge Nurse.
• Takes and records vital signs.
• Makes beds and keeps resident’s units clean and in order.
• Prepares room for housekeeping after resident discharge.
