Job summary

Salary: Up to $26 an hour

Park Gardens Rehabilitation & Nursing Center has immediate openings for enthusiastic and energetic CNA’sfor Weekend shifts to become part ofour dedicated and professional staff. We arelooking for individuals who desire a worthwhile career that has purpose and makes a meaningful difference in someone’s life.Under supervised professional and skilled guidance, our CNAsgive direct nursing care to residents and perform other services necessary for their personal and comforts needs. Job Responsibilities / Duties:

• Promotes resident hygiene and comfort.
• Distributes food/water and feeds residents.
• Assists with repositioning and transferring residents.
• Ambulates and transports residents.
• Records and totals fluid intake and output.
• Weighs residents.
• Documents on flow sheets.
• Assists with admission, discharge and postmortem care.
• Responds to call lights in a timely manner.
• Performs perineal care and uncomplicated colostomy care.
• Reports all observations & assessments to the Team Leader/Nurse Manager/Charge Nurse.
• Takes and records vital signs.
• Makes beds and keeps resident’s units clean and in order.
• Prepares room for housekeeping after resident discharge.

Skill / Experience Requirements.

Valid CNA certificate.

Previous Long Term Care experience a plus.

Positions Available

Parttime and Per Diem positions available.
