Job Title: Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) - Detox Facility

Location: Sun Valley, CA

Schedule: OVERNIGHT shift, Sun-Thurs

Compensation: $23-27 an hour

About The Facility

We are a medically monitored detox facility dedicated to providing compassionate, client-focused care for individuals withdrawing from drugs and alcohol. Our team supports clients through the early stages of recovery in a safe, structured, and therapeutic environment.

Position Summary

The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) plays a vital role in supporting the nursing and clinical team by assisting with client care, monitoring safety, and ensuring a clean and organized environment. The CNA serves as a key point of contact for clients during detox and provides both physical and emotional support during this critical stage of treatment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist nursing staff with daily client care, including vital signs, hygiene, mobility, and monitoring of withdrawal symptoms
• Observe and report changes in client behavior or condition to licensed nursing staff
• Assist with admissions, discharges, and client transport within the facility
• Maintain a clean and safe environment, including making beds, restocking supplies, and disinfecting shared areas
• Provide emotional support and reassurance to clients in withdrawal
• Document care and observations accurately and in a timely manner
• Support de-escalation efforts and follow safety protocols in behavioral emergencies
• Maintain client confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations
• Participate in shift change reports and communicate clearly with team members
  
  

Qualifications

• Current and valid CNA certification in the state of [Insert State]
