MediLodge of Grand Blanc seeks a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant to join our dedicated care team in Grand Blanc, MI. Starting wages range per hour and depend on experience and shift, with growth opportunities in a supportive, patient-centered environment.

As a CNA under supervision, you will assist residents with daily living activities, monitor health and safety, and contribute to a teamwork-focused culture that values recognition, stability, and ongoing education.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Valid CNA certification in the state of employment.
• Six months experience in a long-term care environment preferred.
• Ability to assist residents with daily living activities.

Responsibilities

• Answers signal lights to determine resident needs.
• Assists residents with grooming, hygiene, bathing and incontinence care.
• Obtains food trays and assists with feeding.
• Assists with range of motion and movement to wheelchair or activity areas.
• Turns and positions residents in bed and assists with ambulation.
• Takes and records vitals as directed.
• Performs other tasks as assigned.

Compensation?

• Starting Wages at $19.65-$24.90 per hour
• Wage Calculation is based on experience, shift, a $3.40/hr Michigan Direct Care Incentive, and a $2 VDCU.

Summary: The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) under supervision, provides basic nursing assistance and assists residents with daily living activities.

Qualifications:

Education:

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Licenses/Certification:

Valid certification as a CNA in the state of employment.

Experience:

Six months experience in a long-term care environment preferred.

Job Functions:

• Answers signal lights and bells to determine resident needs.
• Assists residents with grooming, oral hygiene, bathing, hair, and incontinence care.
• Obtains food trays and assists residents with feeding.
• Assists residents with range of motion exercises, and movement to wheelchair or activity areas.
• Assists resident with turning and positioning in bed.,
• Assists resident with ambulation for short distance in facility.
• Takes and records temperature, blood pressure, pulse and respiration rates, and food and fluid intake and output, as directed.
• Performs other tasks as assigned.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

• Ability to react decisively and quickly in emergency situations.
• Ability to communicate effectively with residents and their family members, and facility staff.
