Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Valid CNA certification in the state of employment.
• Six months experience in long-term care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Answers signal lights and bells to determine resident needs.
• Assists residents with grooming, hygiene, bathing, and incontinence care.
• Assists with feeding and meal setup.
• Assists with ROM exercises and mobility to wheelchair or activity areas.
• Turns and positions residents in bed and aids ambulation.
• Monitors vital signs as directed and records inputs/outputs.
• Performs other tasks as assigned.

Compensation

• NEW Starting Wages at $24.90 - $32.87 per hour
• Wage Calculation is based on experience, shift, a $3.40/hr Michigan Direct Care Incentive, a $2/hr Perfect Attendance Bonus, and a $3/hr weekend warrior program.

Job Summary

Qualifications

Education:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Licenses/Certification:

• Valid certification as a CNA in the state of employment.

Experience:

• Six months experience in a long‑term care environment preferred.

Job Functions

• Answers signal lights and bells to determine resident needs.
• Assists residents with grooming, oral hygiene, bathing, hair, and incontinence care.
• Obtains food trays and assists residents with feeding.
• Assists residents with range of motion exercises, and movement to wheelchair or activity areas.
• Assists resident with turning and positioning in bed.
• Assists resident with ambulation for short distance in facility.
• Takes and records temperature, blood pressure, pulse and respiration rates, and food and fluid intake and output, as directed.
• Performs other tasks as assigned.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

• Ability to react decisively and quickly in emergency situations.
• Ability to communicate effectively with residents and their family members, and facility staff.
