Job summary

Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking Certified Nursing Assistants to provide direct patient care under supervision in healthcare facilities. This contract role may involve travel to meet staffing needs in southern North Carolina locations.

The CNA performs individualized care activities and related non-professional services to support patient comfort and well-being. Required certifications include Nursing Assistant certification and CPR if applicable, plus health certificates where required.

Qualifications

• One year experience as a nursing assistant preferred.
• Certification as a Nursing Assistant per client/state requirements.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and knowledge of clerical functions.
• Current CPR if applicable.
• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation).
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
