Job summary

Amergis Healthcare Staffing seeks a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide direct patient care under the supervision of an RN or LPN in healthcare facilities in Capron, VA. The role is a contract - full time position with 36 hours per week and a pay of $13 per hour.

Responsibilities include performing a variety of patient care activities and related non-professional services to support patients’ personal needs and comfort, while complying with professional standards and state regulations.

Qualifications

• One year experience as a nursing assistant preferred.
• Certification as a Nursing Assistant per client/state requirements.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and knowledge of clerical functions.
• Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice.
• Current CPR if applicable.
• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable.
• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation).
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
