Coosa Valley Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center in Glencoe, Alabama is hiring a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our supportive nursing team. You will assist residents with daily living, monitor conditions, record vital signs, and help maintain safety and dignity.

Qualifications

• Active CNA certification in Alabama (required).
• Experience in long-term care or skilled nursing facility preferred.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Compassionate, dependable, strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care to residents, including assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, eating, and hygiene.
• Support the nursing team by monitoring and reporting changes in resident conditions.
• Take and record vital signs, weights, and input/output as directed.
• Ensure residents’ comfort, safety, and dignity at all times.
• Maintain cleanliness of resident rooms and common areas.
• Communicate effectively and compassionately with residents, families, and team members.
• Participate in care planning and implementation under the direction of licensed nursing staff.
