Job summary

Regency Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center in Alexandria, LA is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our nursing team and provide exceptional resident care.

We offer Day, Evening, Night shifts and both Full Time and Part Time positions with benefits including medical/dental/vision, 401(k), PTO from day one, supplemental options, and on-demand pay, plus opportunities for training and professional development.

Qualifications

• Active CNA certification in Louisiana is required.
• Prior long-term care or skilled nursing facility experience preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, compassionate and dependable.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care to residents, assisting with ADLs such as bathing, dressing, eating and hygiene.
• Monitor and report changes in residents' conditions to nursing staff.
• Take and record vital signs, weights, and input/output as directed.
• Ensure residents' comfort, safety and dignity at all times.
• Maintain cleanliness of resident rooms and common areas.
• Communicate compassionately with residents, families, and team members.
• Participate in care planning and implementation under licensed nursing staff.
