Venza Care’s Decatur Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center in Decatur, AL is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our supportive team. You will provide direct care, monitor residents, take vital signs, and support daily activities with a focus on dignity and respect.

Qualifications

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in the state of Alabama.
• Previous long‑term care or skilled nursing facility experience preferred.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Compassionate and dependable with a strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care to residents, including assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, eating, and hygiene.
• Support the nursing team by monitoring and reporting changes in resident conditions.
• Take and record vital signs, weights, and input/output as directed.
• Ensure residents’ comfort, safety, and dignity at all times.
• Maintain cleanliness of resident rooms and common areas.
• Communicate effectively and compassionately with residents, families, and team members.
• Participate in care planning and implementation under the direction of licensed nursing staff.

Compensation:

1. Salary: $15.00 - $19.71/hr based on experience
2. Shift Differentials - $.25 - Night Shift
3. Shift Differentials - $.75 - Evening Shift
4. Extra $2.50/hr instead of benefits
5. $2,500 sign on bonus - (only valid for full time employees who have never received a sign on bonus with us)
