Edgerton Care Center in Edgerton, Wisconsin, is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide resident care under the supervision of a licensed nurse. The CNA completes assigned tasks to ensure timely, safe care and communicates with residents, families, and health team members.

This on-site role offers a base hourly wage of $19.00–$22.28 with shift differentials, health, dental and vision insurance, a 401(k) with match, PTO, tuition reimbursement, EAP, and other benefits.

Qualifications

• Must be in good standing on the State Nursing Assistant registry or appropriate entity.
• Ability to meet physical and job-related requirements.
• Must be English literate and possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Preferred: CPR Certification; Previous hospital or long-term care experience

Responsibilities

• Performs initial and ongoing data collection on all patients/residents under the direction of the Registered Nurse/Licensed Practical Nurse.
• Implements plan of care developed by the Registered Nurse based on patient/resident physical, psychosocial, cultural, ethnic and religious/spiritual needs.
• Provides direct patient/resident care and reports condition and changes to RN or LPN.
• Demonstrates time management and prioritization of tasks.
• Documents results of patient/resident care within established policies, procedures and scope of practice.
• Nutritional care
• Effective communication with residents and family
• Completes all other duties as assigned.
