Job summary

Isles of Boynton Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Boynton Beach, FL is seeking a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team. Full-Time and Part-Time shifts across all hours are available.

Qualifications

• Must hold valid Florida CNA license.
• Minimum 2 years in long-term care or related setting preferred.
• Patience, tact, cheerful disposition, and enthusiasm for resident care.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily living assistance: bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, feeding and mobility.
• Monitor weight, vitals, and inputs/outputs to maintain stability.
• Report changes in resident status to the nursing team.
• Assist nurses with procedures and treatments as needed.
• Keep resident rooms clean, safe, and comfortable.
• Offer companionship and support residents’ emotional well-being.
• Adhere to infection control protocols and respond promptly to call lights.
• Document care provided and communicate concerns.

Pay Rate: Up to $17.50 per hour plus shift differentials

Key Duties:

• Serve a vital role on our nursing team by acting as our residents' main caregiver, providing support for all activities of daily living.

• Assist residents with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, feeding, and mobility needs.

• Maintain patient stability by monitoring weight, vitals, and input/output.

• Communicate any observations of changes in a resident’s status to the nursing team.

• Assist nurses and other medical staff with procedures and treatments as needed.

• Ensure resident rooms and living areas are clean, comfortable, and safe.

• Support residents’ emotional well-being by providing companionship and social interaction.

• Adhere to infection control protocols and safety guidelines.

• Respond promptly to resident call lights and requests for assistance.

• Document care provided and report any concerns or changes in resident condition.

• Perform other job-related duties as required.

Qualifications:

• Valid CNA license in the state of Florida.

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in long-term care or a related setting preferred.

• Must have patience, tact, cheerful disposition, and enthusiasm, with the ability to manage residents based on maturity level and factuality.
