Job summary

Yamato Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Boca Raton, FL is hiring Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to join a dedicated team. Full-time positions across shifts offer hourly pay with additional shift differentials and a supportive work environment.

Expect to assist residents with daily living activities, monitor vitals, document care, and collaborate with nurses to ensure safety and quality care. Requires Florida CNA license and a patient, enthusiastic demeanor.

Qualifications

• Valid CNA license in Florida.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in long-term care preferred.
• Must have patience, tact, cheerful disposition, and enthusiasm.

Responsibilities

• Serve as residents' main caregiver for activities of daily living.
• Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, feeding and mobility.
• Monitor weight, vitals and input/output to maintain stability.
• Communicate changes in resident status to the nursing team.
• Assist nurses and other staff with procedures and treatments as needed.
• Ensure rooms and living areas are clean, comfortable and safe.
• Provide companionship and social interaction to support emotional wellbeing.
• Follow infection control protocols and safety guidelines.
• Respond promptly to call lights and requests for help.
• Document care and report concerns or changes in condition.
• Perform other duties as required.

Key Duties:

• Serve a vital role on our nursing team by acting as our residents' main caregiver, providing support for all activities of daily living.

• Adhere to infection control protocols and safety guidelines.

• Respond promptly to resident call lights and requests for assistance.

• Document care provided and report any concerns or changes in resident condition.

• Perform other job-related duties as required.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in long-term care or a related setting preferred.

• Must have patience, tact, cheerful disposition, and enthusiasm, with the ability to manage residents based on maturity level and factuality.
