Job summary

Yamato Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Boca Raton, Florida is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our compassionate care team.

You will support residents with daily living activities, monitor health, assist with mobility, communicate observations, and help maintain a clean, safe, and supportive environment. A Florida CNA license and a patient-centered attitude are required.

Qualifications

• Valid CNA license in the state of Florida.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in long-term care or a related setting preferred.
• Must have patience, tact, cheerful disposition, and enthusiasm, with the ability to manage residents based on maturity level and factuality.

Responsibilities

• Serve as residents' main caregiver, supporting all activities of daily living.
• Assist residents with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, feeding, and mobility needs.
• Monitor weight, vitals, and input/output to maintain patient stability.
• Communicate observations of changes in a resident’s status to the nursing team.
• Assist nurses and other medical staff with procedures and treatments as needed.
• Ensure resident rooms and living areas are clean, safe, and comfortable.
• Provide companionship and social interaction to support emotional well-being.
• Adhere to infection control protocols and safety guidelines.
• Respond promptly to resident call lights and requests for assistance.
• Document care provided and report any concerns or changes in resident condition.

Pay Rate: $17.50 per hour plus shift differentials
