Job summary

Yamato Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Boca Raton, FL is seeking a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our care team. You will provide direct resident care, assist with activities of daily living, monitor health indicators, and support a safe, compassionate environment.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Florida CNA license.
• Minimum 2 years in long-term care or related setting preferred.
• Ability to stay patient, cheerful, and enthusiastic with residents.

Responsibilities

• Serve as residents' main caregiver and assist with activities of daily living.
• Assist residents with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, feeding and mobility needs.
• Monitor weight, vitals, and input/output to maintain patient stability.
• Communicate observations of changes to the nursing team.
• Assist nurses and other staff with procedures and treatments as needed.
• Keep resident rooms and living areas clean, comfortable, and safe.
• Provide companionship and social interaction to support emotional well-being.
• Adhere to infection control protocols and safety guidelines.

Key Duties:

• Serve a vital role on our nursing team by acting as our residents' main caregiver, providing support for all activities of daily living.

• Assist residents with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, feeding, and mobility needs.

• Respond promptly to resident call lights and requests for assistance.

• Document care provided and report any concerns or changes in resident condition.

• Perform other job-related duties as required.

Qualifications:

• Valid CNA license in the state of Florida.

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in long-term care or a related setting preferred.

• Must have patience, tact, cheerful disposition, and enthusiasm, with the ability to manage residents based on maturity level and factuality.
