Job summary

MediLodge of Green View in Alpena, MI is hiring CNAs with starting wages of $22.90–$28.97 per hour. As a CNA under supervision, you will provide basic nursing assistance and support residents with daily living activities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Valid CNA certification in the state of employment.

Responsibilities

• Respond to resident needs by answering signal lights and bells.
• Assist residents with grooming, hygiene, bathing, hair, and incontinence care.
• Assist with feeding and tray distribution.
• Help with range‑of‑motion exercises and mobility within the facility.
• Turn and position residents in bed.
• Assist with ambulation for short distances.
• Take and record vital signs and intake/output as directed.
• Perform other tasks as assigned.

Compensation

• Starting Wages at $22.90 - $28.97 per hour
• Wage Calculation is based on experience, shift, a $3.40/hr Michigan Direct Care Incentive, $2.00/hr Perfect Attendance Bonus and a $3/hr weekend warrior program.

Job Summary

Job Functions

• Answers signal lights and bells to determine resident needs.
• Assists residents with grooming, oral hygiene, bathing, hair, and incontinence care.
• Obtains food trays and assists residents with feeding.
• Assists residents with range of motion exercises, and movement to wheelchair or activity areas.
• Assists resident with turning and positioning in bed.
• Assists resident with ambulation for short distance in facility.
• Takes and records temperature, blood pressure, pulse and respiration rates, and food and fluid intake and output, as directed.
• Performs other tasks as assigned.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

• Ability to react decisively and quickly in emergency situations.
• Ability to communicate effectively with residents and their family members, and facility staff.
