Job summary

Florham Park Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center in Florham Park, NJ is hiring CNAs for per diem shifts across all hours. Per diem opportunities are available for 7am-3pm, 3pm-11pm (weekends), and 11pm-7am; same-day pay; pay range $20-$26.50 per hour.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current, active New Jersey CNA license.
• Valid BLS/CPR certification required.

• Strong communication skills and ability to follow directions accurately.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic resident care under the direction of licensed nursing staff.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living (feeding, bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility, linens).
• Provide supportive care to meet residents' physical, emotional, and daily living needs.
• Observe residents and report changes in condition or needs to nursing staff.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment that promotes dignity and well-being.
• Support nursing staff in delivering high-quality, resident-centered care.

Responsibilities for CNAs:

• Provide basic resident care under the direction and supervision of licensed nursing staff in a safe, compassionate, and respectful manner.


• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including feeding, bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility assistance, and changing linens.


• Provide supportive care and services to ensure residents’ physical, emotional, and daily living needs are consistently met.


• Observe residents and report changes in condition, behavior, or needs to nursing staff in a timely and accurate manner.


• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment that promotes dignity and well‑being for all residents.


• Support nursing staff and the care team in delivering high-quality, resident-centered care.

Qualifications for CNAs:

• Must hold a current, active, and unencumbered Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license in the state of New Jersey employment.


• Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) / CPR certification required.


• Ability to work effectively with multiple residents in a fast-paced, team-oriented healthcare environment.
