Job summary

Landmark Medical Center, part of Prime Healthcare, in Woonsocket, RI, seeks a Certified Nursing Assistant for the Behavioral Health department. Per Diem; shift is variable.

The CNA will assist with activities of daily living, provide basic nursing care, and help maintain a safe environment under the supervision of the RN in charge of the team. Qualified candidates must hold a CNA certificate upon hire, maintain current BLS, and have knowledge of medical terminology.

Qualifications

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant certificate upon hire.
• Current BLS certification upon hire and maintain.
• Knowledge of Medical Terminology.
• Minimum six months’ previous experience in an acute care hospital or physician’s office preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living and provide basic nursing care.
• Maintain a safe environment under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse in charge of the team and/or unit.

Responsibilities

The Certified Nursing Assistant in the Behavioral Health department is a licensed assistive person who assists with activities of daily living, provides basic nursing care to non-critical patients and assists in maintenance of a safe environment under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse in charge of the team and/or unit.
