Job summary

Landmark Medical Center, a Prime Healthcare facility in Woonsocket, RI, is seeking a Per Diem Housekeeper to support the Surgical Department. The role focuses on cleaning, disinfecting and materials management to facilitate safe patient care in the Operating Room, Short Procedure Unit, PACU, and Sterile Processing Unit.

Evening shift; prior housekeeping or OR experience preferred; BLS within 30 days; Safe Patient Handling / DCI training within 30 days of hire.

Qualifications

• Housekeeping, supply/stocking experience in an operating room / surgical setting.
• Previous patient care experience preferred.
• BLS (AHA Certification) within 30 days of hire.
• Safe Patient Handling / DCI Training completed within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Performs cleaning, disinfecting and materials management to support surgical departments.
• Supports safe and effective patient care in OR, Short Procedure Unit, PACU, Sterile Processing Unit and other units as assigned.

Responsibilities

Performs a variety of duties relating to cleaning, disinfecting and materials management support in the Surgical Department, in order to facilitate the safe and effective provision of patient care services in the Operating Room, Short Procedure Unit, Post Anesthesia Care Unit, Sterile Processing Unit and other patient units as assigned. Performs a variety of other direct and indirect patient care duties throughout the organization for adult, and geriatric patients as needed.
