Job summary

Novant Health is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our inpatient care team. You will assist patients with daily living activities, monitor conditions, and support mobility in a safe, clean environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; completion of NAI program required.
• One year CNA experience preferred.
• Listed with the nurse aide registry as an NA I required. BLS Health Care Provider required. Medication Safety – AME required.
• Basic computer skills for documentation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and feeding.
• Monitor and report changes in patient condition to the nursing team.
• Support patient mobility, comfort, and safety.
• Measure and record vital signs as directed.
• Maintain a clean and safe patient environment.
• Collaborate with nurses and other healthcare team members to provide outstanding patient care.
