Job summary

Trustwell Living, LLC in South Milwaukee, WI seeks a Certified Nursing Assistant to support residents with dignity and independence in a home-like environment. You will perform ADL assistance, report changes, and follow infection control procedures.

Completion of CNA program with a current license is required; CPR/First Aid certification is preferred, with 18–24 months of similar experience. Full-time roles include comprehensive benefits and flexible scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Adheres to philosophy of resident dignity, privacy, independence, choice, and a home-like environment.
• Receives and gives report from the previous shift.
• Reviews assignments with Designated Supervisor.
• Reads Resident records and maintains familiarity with Resident records as required.
• Assists with instrumental activities of daily living (ADLs) and mobility while encouraging self-care and independence.
• Provides services as indicated on Resident service plans including bathing, toileting, transfer, and mobility assistance.
• Demonstrates knowledge of and adheres to infection control procedures.
• Maintains clean, neat, comfortable, safe environment for Residents, staff, and visitors.
• Notifies nurse or designated agents of Resident status/change as appropriate.
• Records Resident information as required.
• Demonstrates knowledge of and adheres to fire, life safety, disaster, security, work, safety, and other emergency procedures.

Position Responsibilities

• Assists with instrumental activities of daily living, ADL's, environmental orientation, assistance with other care while encouraging self-care and independence.
• Provides services as indicated on Resident service plans, including but not limited to bathing assistance, toileting assistance, transfer, and mobility assistance.
• Demonstrates knowledge of and follows infection control procedures.
• Maintains clean, neat, comfortable, safe environment for Residents, staff, and visitors.
• Observes changes in Resident status, needs, or preferences and communicates them appropriately.
• Adheres to all established policies and procedures.
• Records Resident information as required.
• Demonstrates knowledge of and adheres to procedures for fire, life safety, disaster, security, work, safety, and other emergency situations.
• Notifies nurse, and/or designated agent(s) of Resident status/change as appropriate.

Training And Experience

Completion of Certified Nursing Assistant program with current license. 18 - 24 months experience in a similar position, CPR/First Aid certified preferred.

Education

Attendance at mandatory in-service training. Maintain CPR/First Aid Certification. Meet in-service training hours required for job classification and position.
