Job summary

Trustwell Living, LLC is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to provide compassionate resident care in a supportive, home-like community in Kelso, WA.

You will assist with daily living activities, document changes, and collaborate with nurses to maintain safety and comfort.

This role emphasizes dignity, privacy, and independence, with training and benefits included.

Qualifications

• Must have CNA license and completed CNA program.
• 18–24 months experience in a similar position preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Adheres to dignity, privacy, independence, and a home-like environment for Residents.
• Receives and gives report from the previous shift.
• Reviews assignments with Designated Supervisor.
• Reads staff communication records and Residence files as required.
• Assists with ADLs, mobility, and self-care while encouraging independence.
• Provides bathing, toileting, transfer, and mobility assistance as per Resident plans.
• Demonstrates infection control procedures and maintains a safe environment.
• Notifies nurse or designated agents of Resident status changes.

Position Responsibilities

• Adheres to and conveys philosophy of supporting dignity, privacy, independence, choice, individuality, and a home-like environment for Resident.
• Receives and gives report from the previous shift.
• Reviews assignments with Designated Supervisor.
• Reads the staff communication records and maintains familiarity with Resident records as required.
• Assists with instrumental activities of daily living, ADL’s, environmental orientation, assistance with other care while encouraging self-care and independence.
• Provides services as indicated on Resident service plans, including but not limited to bathing assistance, toileting assistance, transfer, and mobility assistance.
• Demonstrates knowledge of and follows infection control procedures.
• Maintains clean, neat, comfortable, safe environment for Residents, staff, and visitors.
• Observes changes in Resident status, needs, or preferences and communicates them appropriately.
• Adheres to all established policies and procedures.
• Records Resident information as required.
• Demonstrates knowledge of and adheres to procedures for fire, life safety, disaster, security, work, safety, and other emergency situations.
• Notifies nurse, and/or designated agent(s) of Resident status/change as appropriate.

Training And Experience

Completion of Certified Nursing Assistant program with current license. 18 – 24 months experience in a similar position, CPR/First Aid certified preferred.

Education

Attendance at mandatory in-service training. Maintain CPR/First Aid Certification. Meet in-service training hours required for job classification and position.
