Job summary

Trustwell Living, LLC is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to support residents in a caring, home‑like environment. You will assist with daily living activities, follow care plans, and communicate with the team to ensure safety and comfort for Residents.

Completion of an approved CNA program with a current license is required; CPR/First Aid certification is preferred. Full-time positions include comprehensive medical benefits and PTO, with a flexible schedule.

Qualifications

• Completion of Certified Nursing Assistant program with current license.
• CPR/First Aid certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Adheres to philosophy of resident dignity, privacy, independence, and home-like environment.
• Receives and gives report from the previous shift.
• Reviews assignments with Designated Supervisor.
• Reads staff communications and Resident records.
• Assists with ADLs and mobility while promoting independence.
• Provides services per Resident service plans (bathing, toileting, transfers).
• Follows infection control procedures.
• Maintains safe, clean environment for Residents, staff and visitors.
• Notifies nurse of status changes as appropriate.

Position Responsibilities

• Adheres to and conveys philosophy of supporting dignity, privacy, independence, choice, individuality, and a home-like environment for Resident.
• Receives and gives report from the previous shift.
• Reviews assignments with Designated Supervisor.
• Reads the staff communication records and maintains familiarity with Resident records as required.
• Assists with instrumental activities of daily living, ADL’s, environmental orientation, assistance with other care while encouraging self-care and independence.
• Provides services as indicated on Resident service plans, including but not limited to bathing assistance, toileting assistance, transfer, and mobility assistance.
• Demonstrates knowledge of and follows infection control procedures.
• Maintains clean, neat, comfortable, safe environment for Residents, staff, and visitors.
• Observes changes in Resident status, needs, or preferences and communicates them appropriately.
• Adheres to all established policies and procedures.
• Records Resident information as required.
• Demonstrates knowledge of and adheres to procedures for fire, life safety, disaster, security, work, safety, and other emergency situations.
• Notifies nurse, and/or designated agent(s) of Resident status/change as appropriate.

Training And Experience

Completion of Certified Nursing Assistant program with current license. 18 – 24 months experience in a similar position, CPR/First Aid certified preferred.

Education

Attendance at mandatory in-service training. Maintain CPR/First Aid Certification. Meet in-service training hours required for job classification and position.
