Job summary

Trustwell Living, LLC is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to support residents with daily living activities and personal care. You will receive shift reports, review assignments with a supervisor, and help residents maintain independence in a home-like setting.

Responsibilities include ADL assistance, mobility support, infection control, and accurate documentation. CPR/First Aid certification is preferred, with a focus on dignity, privacy, and compassionate care in a safe environment.

Qualifications

• Completion of Certified Nursing Assistant program with current license.
• 18–24 months experience in a similar position.
• CPR/First Aid certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Adheres to dignity, privacy, independence, choice and a home-like environment for Residents.
• Receives and gives report from the previous shift and reviews assignments with Designated Supervisor.
• Assists with ADLs, environmental orientation and encourages self-care and independence.
• Provides bathing, toileting, transfers and mobility assistance as per Resident plans.
• Follows infection control procedures and maintains a safe, clean environment.
• Notifies nurse of Resident status changes and records information as required.

Position Responsibilities

• Adheres to and conveys philosophy of supporting dignity, privacy, independence, choice, individuality, and a home-like environment for Resident.
• Receives and gives report from the previous shift.
• Reviews assignments with Designated Supervisor.
• Reads the staff communication records and maintains familiarity with Resident records as required.
• Assists with instrumental activities of daily living, ADL’s, environmental orientation, assistance with other care while encouraging self-care and independence.
• Provides services as indicated on Resident service plans, including but not limited to bathing assistance, toileting assistance, transfer, and mobility assistance.
• Demonstrates knowledge of and follows infection control procedures.
• Maintains clean, neat, comfortable, safe environment for Residents, staff, and visitors.
• Observes changes in Resident status, needs, or preferences and communicates them appropriately.
• Adheres to all established policies and procedures.
• Records Resident information as required.
• Demonstrates knowledge of and adheres to procedures for fire, life safety, disaster, security, work, safety, and other emergency situations.
• Notifies nurse, and/or designated agent(s) of Resident status/change as appropriate.

Training And Experience

Completion of Certified Nursing Assistant program with current license. 18 – 24 months experience in a similar position, CPR/First Aid certified preferred.

Education

Attendance at mandatory in-service training. Maintain CPR/First Aid Certification. Meet in-service training hours required for job classification and position.
