Job summary

Trustwell Living at Oak Creek Place is hiring Caregivers and CNAs to join our compassionate care team in South Milwaukee, WI. This full‑time position offers pay ranges of $17.00 to $20.00 per hour with full medical benefits for all full‑time staff and substantial PTO.

Responsibilities include assisting with ADLs, supporting independence, and adhering to resident service plans to deliver person‑centered care in a home‑like community. Prior CNA certification and CPR/First Aid are preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience providing person-centered care in a residential setting.
• Ability to read, write and communicate effectively in English.
• CPR/First Aid certification is preferred but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with ADLs including bathing, toileting, mobility and transfers.
• Support dignity, privacy, independence and a home-like environment.
• Follow resident service plans and maintain safety and quality of care.

As a Caregiver/ Certified Nurse Assistant, you are responsible for the following:

• Adhere to and convey a philosophy of supporting dignity, privacy, independence, choice, individuality, and a home-like environment for residents.
• Assist with instrumental activities of daily living, ADLs, environmental orientation, and assistance with other care while encouraging self-care and independence.
• Provide services as indicated on resident service plans, including but not limited to bathing assistance, toileting assistance, transfer, and mobility assistance.
• Build relationships with the amazing people who live in our community.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar role preferred.
• CNA when required by the state
• CPR/First Aid certification preferred
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds
• Able to read, write, and verbally communicate in English
