Job summary

Utopia Home Care is seeking an experienced Home Health Aide (HHA) / Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our growing team in Seymour, CT. Per diem shifts include 7a-3p, 3p-11p, and 11p-7a with weekend availability preferred.

Responsibilities include ADL assistance, bathing, dressing, and medication reminders, in patients' homes. A state-certified CNA/HHA and original documentation are required. Fingerprinting and physical forms are part of the onboarding process.

Qualifications

• Must have a HHA or CNA certification.
• Original certification document from a state approved training provider must be presented.
• Must be able to provide original CT Driver's License or CT State ID and original Social Security Card.
• Documentation of a physical and PPD in the past 12 months or willingness to obtain a physical and PPD quickly.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on care for ADLs in clients' homes.
• Assist with bathing, dressing, hair care, mouth care, toileting, transfers, and medication reminders.
