UTOPIA HOME CARE, INC is seeking a certified Home Health Aide (HHA) / Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our Hartford, CT team on a per diem basis. The role provides in-home care to clients, focusing on ADLs, safety, and comfort.

The ideal candidate holds a valid HHA or CNA certification, can present required CT documents, and will have reliable transportation to visit client homes. Fingerprinting and background checks are part of our onboarding process.

Qualifications

• Must have HHA or CNA certification and possess the original document of certification from a state approved training provider.
• Must be able to provide original documents for CT Driver's License or CT State ID and original Social Security Card.
• Must be able to provide documentation of a physical and PPD taken within the past 12 months OR be willing to obtain a physical and PPD test quickly.
• Must have reliable transportation to and from client cases.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on care for clients in their homes, including bathing, dressing, hair care, mouth care, toileting, transfers, and medication reminders.
• Support Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) and ensure patient comfort and safety.
• Show compassion and patience, treating clients like family.
