Job summary

Utopia Home Care in Connecticut is hiring a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) / Home Health Aide (HHA) to join our team serving Bridgeport, Derby, Ansonia, Trumbull, Norwalk and Stamford. Must have a HHA or CNA certification and provide original documentation; Spanish speaking is a plus.

Responsibilities include ADL support, medication reminders, and compassionate in-home care. Reliable transportation and the ability to obtain a physical and PPD quickly are required.

Qualifications

• Must have a HHA or CNA certification and possess the original document of certification from a state approved training provider.
• Must be able to provide original documents for CT Driver's License or CT State ID and original Social Security Card.
• Must be able to provide documentation of a physical and PPD taken within the past 12 months OR be willing to obtain a physical and PPD test quickly.
• Must have reliable transportation to and from cases.
• Spanish speaking is a plus!

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on care for clients in their homes, including bathing, dressing, hair care, mouth care, toileting, transfers, and medication reminders.
• Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) and ensure safety and comfort for clients.
• Support clients with routine tasks and monitoring while maintaining compassion and patience.
