Job summary
Utopia Home Care in Simsbury, CT is seeking an experienced Certified Nursing Assistant (HHA/CNA) to join our growing team serving Virginia Connolly Residence. You will provide in-home care and assist with Activities of Daily Living in clients' homes.
Per diem shifts are available including every other weekend and flexible hours. We offer competitive weekly pay, direct deposit, flexible schedules and benefits such as health/dental/vision insurance and a 401K.
Qualifications
- Must have a HHA or CNA certification and possess the original document of certification from a state approved training provider.
- Must be able to provide original documents for CT Driver's License or CT State ID and original Social Security Card.
- Must be able to provide documentation of a physical and PPD taken within the past 12 months OR be willing to obtain a physical and PPD test quickly.
Responsibilities
- Provide hands-on care for clients who require ADL assistance at home (bathing, dressing, toileting, transfers, medication reminders).
- Show patience, compassion, and a heart for caring for others.
- Commit to working per diem shifts, including every other weekend and varied hours.

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Certified Nursing Assistant to join our growing team in Virginia Connolly Residence.

Shifts Available: PER DIEM all shifts - every other weekend, 3p-9p, 7a-1p, or 7a - 3p
Utopia Home Care is a Medicare certified, state licensed, medical home care agency that provides in‑home nursing, therapy, and home health aide services throughout Connecticut. We have been family owned and operated since 1983 and currently serve over 1400 clients throughout the state!
Utopia’s hiring process requires the completion of several key items. Please note that while Utopia covers the cost of fingerprinting, applicants are responsible for completing the required physical forms.

- Physical Forms (must be from within the past year)

- Our Home Health Aides (HHA) / Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) provide hands‑on care for clients who require assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) in their homes. This includes, bathing, dressing, hair care, mouth care, toileting, transfers, and medication reminders.
