Job summary

Allure of Peru in Peru, Illinois is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to provide direct resident care and assist with daily living activities. You will work closely with our nursing staff to ensure the health, safety, dignity, and comfort of each resident.

The role offers part-time opportunities with shifts from 5:45am-2:15pm and 2pm-10:15pm, competitive pay at $22/hour, and benefits including 3% 401(k) employer match plus health, dental and vision insurance.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted Illinois CNA certification required.
• CPR certification preferred.
• Must read, write and communicate effectively in English.
• Long-term care experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with meals, hydration, and feeding.
• Provide personal care including bathing, grooming, toileting, and hygiene.
• Assist with ambulation, transfers, repositioning, and mobility.
• Monitor and record vital signs, weights, and intake/output.
• Respond to call lights and resident needs promptly.
• Observe and report changes in resident condition to nursing staff.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation.
• Protect resident privacy and HIPAA compliance.

You'll work closely with our nursing staff to ensure that each resident receives the highest level of care and compassion.

• Follow all company policies and state/federal regulations
• Participate in ongoing education and training

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs frequently
