Job summary

Allure of Walnut is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team. You will help residents with daily living activities, meals, mobility, and monitoring health needs, in a warm, supportive environment.

We offer day, evening, and night shifts with competitive pay up to $18.50–$20.50 per hour and a sign-on bonus. Benefits include health coverage, 401(k), paid time off, and opportunities for ongoing training.

Qualifications

• Must hold Illinois certified CNA with current CPR.
• Long-term care experience preferred.
• Excellent communication in English; reading/writing required.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with ADLs: bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting.
• Assist with meals, feeding, hydration.
• Help with ambulation, transfers, turning, positioning.
• Monitor vital signs, weights, intake/output.
• Respond to call lights and resident requests.
• Observe changes in condition and report to nursing team.
• Document care and complete required records.
• Protect privacy and confidentiality; follow regulations.
• Participate in ongoing education and training.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Pay Rates & Available Shifts

• Day Shift: 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM | $18.50 per hour
• Second Shift: 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM | $20.00 per hour
• Night Shift: 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM | $20.50 per hour
• Sign On Bonus: $3000 full time/ $1500 part time

What You'll Do

As a Certified Nursing Assistant at Allure of Walnut, you will play an important role in promoting the health, safety, comfort, and dignity of our residents.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Assisting residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and personal hygiene.
• Providing assistance with meals, feeding, and hydration.
• Helping residents with ambulation, transfers, turning, and positioning.
• Monitoring vital signs, weights, intake and output, and other assigned measurements.
• Responding promptly to call lights and resident requests.
• Observing residents for changes in condition and reporting concerns to the nursing team.
• Accurately documenting care and completing required records.
• Protecting resident privacy, dignity, and confidentiality.
• Following company policies, professional standards, and applicable state and federal regulations.
• Participating in ongoing education and training.
• Performing other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Current CNA certification meeting Illinois state requirements.
• Current CPR certification required.
• Long-term care experience preferred.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Compassion, patience, dependability, and a genuine desire to care for others.
• Ability to work collaboratively with residents, families, and the healthcare team.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to sit, stand, bend, and walk regularly throughout the shift.
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 100 pounds, with assistance and appropriate equipment as required by facility policy.
• Sufficient visual and auditory abilities to perform essential job duties and communicate effectively.
• Ability to work in a healthcare environment with a moderate noise level.
