The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) provides direct resident care and assistance with activities of daily living, ensuring the health, safety, dignity, and comfort of every resident.
Assist residents with meals, hydration, and feeding
Provide personal care including bathing, grooming, toileting, and hygiene
Assist with ambulation, transfers, repositioning, and mobility
Monitor and record vital signs, weights, and intake/output
Respond promptly to call lights and resident needs
Observe and report changes in resident condition to nursing staff
Maintain accurate and timely documentation
Protect resident privacy and maintain HIPAA compliance
Follow all company policies and state/federal regulations
Participate in ongoing education and training
Active, unrestricted Illinois CNA certification
Must be at least 18 years of age
Current CPR certification preferred
Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
Long-term care experience preferred, but not required
Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs frequently
Ability to perform physical and communication demands of resident care
Ability to work in a moderate noise environment
