Job Title: Certified Nursing Assistant

Pay Range

• Days: $20.00 - $21.65
• Evenings: $21.10 - $22.75
• Nights: $21.50 - $23.15

All evening and night shifts include shift differentials. The base pay range reflects current potential pay for successful applicants and includes shift differentials. Pay is determined by experience, qualifications, specialty, internal equity, and contracts.

Responsibilities

• Assist with resident care tasks, including maintaining rooms, providing personal hygiene, feeding, and activity assistance.
• Document resident observations accurately and legibly.
• Operate equipment for moving residents, taking vital signs, and recording data.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and coworkers.
• Work effectively under stress and handle interruptions.

Qualifications

• Preferably one year or more experience as a Certified Nursing Assistant.
• Computer experience preferred.
• Ability to work with tact, discretion, and diplomacy.
• Ability to work beyond scheduled hours if necessary.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Graduation from a Certified Nursing Assistant Program.
• NYS Certification or eligibility for certification as a Long Term Care Nursing Assistant.
• Basic resident care equipment knowledge and ability to document health information.

Certifications

• BLS certification preferred.
