Job summary

Emerald Brookside, Lincoln, NE is seeking a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our Nursing team. In this full-time role, you will provide high-quality resident care, ensuring comfort, safety, and wellbeing.

Responsibilities include assisting with daily living activities, mobility support, vital signs, documentation, and collaboration with nurses and physicians to maintain cohesive care. 6a-230p and 2p-1030p shifts with every other weekend; PRN hours also available.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in a skilled nursing facility is preferred.
• Must be able to lift/move residents and perform related physical tasks.
• Current Nebraska CNA certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily living activities (bathing, dressing, grooming, hygiene).
• Support mobility through transferring, positioning, and ambulation.
• Take and record vital signs (BP, temp, pulse, respiration).
• Accurately document care and resident changes in electronic health records.

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) to join our skilled nursing facility team. In this role, you will provide high-quality care and support to residents, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being.

Responsibilities

• Resident Care: Assist residents with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene.
• Mobility Assistance: Help residents with mobility issues, including transferring, positioning, and ambulating safely.
• Vital Signs Monitoring: Take and record vital signs such as blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration rates.
• Documentation: Accurately document all care provided, changes in residents’ conditions, and any other pertinent information in electronic health records.
• Communication: Report any changes in residents’ conditions or concerns to the nursing staff or supervisor in a timely manner.
• Supportive Tasks: Assist with feeding, preparing meals, and providing companionship to enhance residents’ quality of life.
• Infection Control: Follow infection control protocols and maintain a clean and safe environment for residents.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with other healthcare professionals, including nurses and physicians, to ensure cohesive and comprehensive care.

Qualifications

• Experience: Previous experience in a skilled nursing facility or similar healthcare setting preferred.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and move residents, as well as perform physical tasks associated with patient care.
• Certifications: Current CNA certification in Nebraska
